오늘은 세계 여성의 날! 라디오 뉴스 듣다가 마음에 드는 (인터뷰어의 생각과 100% 동의하지는 않지만) 부분이 있어서 받아적어봤어.
근데 원래 글씨도 잘 못쓰고 오늘 내려마신 커피가 하필이면 너어어무 세서 손이 덜덜 떨려... 중간에 오타(?) 낼 뻔한 부분도 많고ㅋㅋㅋ
그래도 기념할 만한 꾸방 첫 사공이라 예쁘게(?) 봐 줬으면 좋겠어!
p.s. 내가 받아적은 부분은 이거야! : “My view is that most diversity inclusion interventions miss the point because they focus on gender relevant talent, and they often convey this impression that women need help to become leaders because actually they are not as talented or they don't have as much potential as men do. Well in fact, most of the men who are leaders are not very good. And we are fooled by people who have actually fooled themselves already and thinking that they are better than they actually are. (...) But in general, we have higher standards when we evaluate female candidates for leadership jobs than male candidates. To improve the quality of our leaders and increase the number of female leaders, we need to do three things: the first is to focus on the right traits, like humility, integrity, self-awareness. Secondly, we need to distrust our instincts, rely not on interviews but on data-driven tools like psychometric assessments. And thirdly elevate our standards, not make it easier for women to become leaders when they shouldn't, but make it harder for men to be leaders when they shouldn't.”
